GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: If storage and usage conditions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable not only for candle casting but also for soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By considering the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create various products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being opened or cut. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the point where you will insert the wick using a tool called a 'piercer' or a medium-thickness quilting needle within seconds without damaging the mold.
- Mold Cutting: The mold’s opening is narrower than its body. Therefore, cut the mold vertically along the dotted lines shown in the visuals using a cutting tool (such as a box cutter or craft knife). Before casting, align the cut surfaces precisely and secure them tightly with a rubber band. This cutting process allows your detailed candle to be removed easily without damage, prevents mold tearing, and extends its lifespan.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting temperature and casting temperature of the wax to ensure smooth mold details. Trying to remove the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in future castings. To reduce workload and avoid risks, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and remove objects quickly. Apply the spray evenly on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the inside of the mold with a hot air gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Since silicone is flexible, it may warp under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep it away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you a joyful and patient production process.
