What are the candle making supplies?
List by a single project: container soy or mold paraffin. Wick, fragrance, dye, mold/container, scale and double boiler can be completed from the Rufus Concept catalog.
Raw material
Soya Wax 50 for container and aromatherapy (flakes, melting ~51–55°C). Paraffin for firm molds/pillars. Gel is a separate recipe; do not mix it with soy. Choose a single base for the first trial.
- Soya Wax 50: a 0.5 kg trial or a 5–25 kg workshop sack.
- Paraffin: for mold and pillar work.
- Optional stearic acid: hardness in paraffin molds; not required in soy containers.
Wick, fragrance, dye, container
The wick is chosen by inner diameter, not candle weight. Fragrance is oil-based; Soya Wax 50 oil saturation ~8% (6–10% in practice). Granule dye starts at ~1%. The container or silicone mold determines the project.
- Cotton or wooden wick + holder / base fixer.
- Oil-based candle fragrance and granule candle dye.
- A heat-resistant glass/metal container or silicone mold.
Equipment
A direct flame burns wax. Without a double boiler, a digital thermometer and a precision scale, the recipe cannot be locked. If you want a ready kit, look at the candle making kits category; completing the missing items one by one is cheaper in a workshop.

- Digital thermometer, gram scale.
- Wick scissors: trim ~5 mm before burning.

A ready kit or item by item?
A kit is quick for a hobby. In a workshop, buying wax, wick and fragrance separately makes it easier to lock the recipe.
Is beeswax required?
No. The backbone of the Rufus stock is soy, paraffin, gel, fragrance and molds. If you are looking for beeswax, read the SKU note if it is in the catalog.
