Wick
How to measure double wick spacing?
Spacing is the base distance between the two threads. The pouring recipe is in a separate guide. Keep them equal to the edge and to each other; two medium sizes instead of one heavy thread. Soya Wax 50 container, tip ~5 mm.
-
Keep the edge allowance equal
Each wick the same mm from the glass wall. If one sticks to the wall, the glass heats. The glass heat guide is separate.
-
Between the two threads
Leave the middle empty; the two flames should merge in one pool. Touching doubles tunnel. No memorized cm; a ruler by diameter.
-
Burn test
Pour Soya Wax 50 at ~51–55°C (the recipe is separate). 24 hours, tip ~5 mm. If a wall of wax stays at the edge, narrow the spacing; if there is soot, lower the size.
Not pouring
Wax, fragrance and cure are in the how-to-make-a-double-wick-candle article. This page is only distance.
Double wood
Two wood wicks follow the same equality. The mm choice is separate.
