GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to prevent damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Pouring Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can pour approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Pouring Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple materials besides candle wax, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Please consider the freezing and working conditions of your material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder casts shown in the images are not included. Your order includes only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents waste and eliminates the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are shipped without wick holes cut or pierced to maintain versatility. Before pouring, you can easily create the wick hole using a tool called a 'biz' or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Control: Pay attention to the melting and pouring temperature of your wax for smooth details. Removing the candle before it fully cools may cause loss of detail and shape irregularities.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in future pours. To reduce workload and risk, consider having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Store your mold completely dry in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
