Product Info
Gel wax, also known as gel paraffin, is a type of paraffin derived from petroleum. It is obtained through refining crude oil in industrial processing plants and undergoing multiple treatments. It is used in candle making. The wax is transparent and has a flexible structure. It is odorless. Compared to paraffin, it burns four times longer and burns cleaner. Melting point: 90-95°C. Freezing point: 50-60°C. Since it may be harmful to human and animal health, it is not recommended to inhale directly during melting and freezing. Use of a mask is advised. It is recommended to melt the product using a double boiler method and to stir continuously during melting. The melting is not complete until the wax fully liquefies. Depending on your wick choice, it may produce soot and smoke. As a flammable raw material, extra caution is advised when melting and burning the wax. Protect the product from extreme heat (above 32°C) and extreme cold (below 5°C). Storage at an average temperature of 18-21°C, which corresponds to WHO room temperature standards, is suitable. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. The product will be delivered in a 15 kg barrel with a lockable lid.
