GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that will not damage candle details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: If storage and usage conditions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 candles with the mold.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for multiple casting materials besides candle wax; including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. By paying attention to the freezing and working conditions of your material, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label helps prevent material waste and saves you from searching for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or drilled. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the point where the wick will pass using a tool called a 'biz' or a medium-thickness quilting needle within seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: To get smooth details, pay attention to the candle's melting and casting temperature. Trying to remove the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in subsequent castings. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial productions, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. When applying, ensure an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Since silicone is flexible, it may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep it away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and joy in your production process.
