GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for various casting materials besides candle wax; including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster. Please pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label helps prevent material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds support multi-purpose casting, they are sent without wick holes opened or cut. Before casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole at the desired point using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: To preserve mold details smoothly, pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in subsequent castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and facilitate quick removal of objects. Apply the spray evenly on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the inside of the mold with a hot air gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, each candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
