GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for various casting materials besides wax, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster. Please pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or drilled. Before casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole point with a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle in seconds without damaging the mold.
- Mold Cutting: The mold’s opening is narrower than its body. Therefore, cut the mold vertically along the dotted lines shown in the visuals using a cutting tool (box cutter, craft knife, etc.). Before casting, align the cut surfaces precisely and secure them tightly with a rubber band. This cutting process allows your detailed candle to release easily without damage, prevents mold tearing, and extends mold lifespan.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level to achieve a flawless form.
- Temperature Balance: To preserve mold details, pay attention to the wax melting and casting temperatures. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions minimizes color transfer for subsequent castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply the spray evenly on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry before placing it back in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you a joyful and patient production process.
