- Candle dyes are oil-based products used to color your candles.
- They have a thick, concentrated consistency and begin to soften and then melt when exposed to heat.
- This product is open green in color and weighs 50 grams, shipped as 2 pieces of 25g doypack packaging.
- When making the candle you want to color, it is recommended to add a small amount (1%) of granule candle dye to the melting container together with your raw material (soy wax, paraffin, etc.). The two products should be mixed thoroughly to become homogeneous. After your raw material is completely melted, drop a small amount onto white paper and wait for it to dry. If the dried colored wax on the paper matches the tone you want, your color is ready. If it is lighter than expected, add a small piece (2%, 3%, 4%, etc.) more by breaking it into the liquid wax and mix well. Repeat this process until you achieve the desired tone.
- The visible color of the melted raw material while coloring your candle will not be the same as the color after drying.
- The candle dyes you use can be mixed with each other, allowing you to obtain intermediate colors from different primary colors.
- Granule candle dyes are produced to minimize pigment problems after drying, unlike powder dyes. They are much easier to work with compared to powder dyes.
