GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to avoid damage to object details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast approximately 500 objects.
- Supportive PLA Hoop Attachment: The outer hoop is made from PLA, an organic bioplastic, to perfectly maintain the form during casting. Hoop color may vary depending on stock.
- Multi-purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for various castings except stone powder; compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster. Pay attention to drying and working conditions of your raw materials. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: Containers shown in images are not included. Your order includes only the high-quality silicone mold to produce containers. The package consists of 5 pieces: 1 silicone mold, 2 PLA hoops, and 2 clamps.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw materials easily, preventing waste and eliminating the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: Clean molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- PLA Hoop Usage: Before casting, insert the hoop into the silicone mold and secure with clamps. This prevents deformation of the silicone during casting. Important: Do not apply direct heat (hair dryer, heat gun, etc.) to the hoop as high temperatures may deform or melt the PLA.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Stone Powder Mixing Ratio Tip: Reference ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg stone powder. Correct water-to-powder ratio ensures stronger, more durable objects. Higher water increases fragility; lower water makes pouring and spreading harder. Adjust ratios seasonally with temperature changes.
- Air Bubble Warning: Adding Li-Quit Air Entrainer at 1-3 g per 100 g mixture minimizes air bubbles. After pouring, gently tap the mold to help bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To preserve smooth details, do not remove the object before stone powder fully cures and heat phase ends.
- Mold Release Spray Usage: For serial production, use mold release spray to extend mold life and ease demolding. Apply an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly after casting.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Store completely dry molds in their original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: Use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes as needed.
