GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage object details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can cast approximately 500 objects.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Silicone molds are inherently versatile. Except for stone powder casting, they are compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to drying and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The containers shown in images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold for producing the container will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, wick holes are not pre-cut. Before wax casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Stone Powder Mixture Ratio Tip: Reference mixture ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg powder. Correct water-to-powder ratio ensures stronger, more durable objects. Higher water increases fragility; lower water makes pouring and spreading difficult. Adjust ratios seasonally with temperature changes.
- Air Bubble Warning: Adding the recommended amount of Li-Quit Air Entrainer after mixing stone powder with water minimizes air bubbles. Reference ratio: 1-3 g Li-Quit per 100 g mortar. Lightly tapping the mold after pouring helps bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To preserve smooth details, do not remove the object before the stone powder fully cures and the heating phase ends.
- Mold Release Spray Use: For series production, use mold release spray to extend mold life and speed up demolding. Apply an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly after casting.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Ensure molds are completely dry and store in their original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
