Product Info

PRODUCT DIMENSIONS

  • Candle dimensions from the mold: 8 cm diameter x 7.5 cm height including wick
  • Average candle weight: ~250 g
  • Mold weight: 270 g
  • You can produce 1 pomegranate-shaped candle per casting.

GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION

  • Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
  • Casting Guarantee: If storage and usage conditions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
  • Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their structure, silicone molds offer multi-purpose casting benefits. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw material, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
  • Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
  • Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be sent in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label helps prevent material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

  • First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
  • Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being made or cut. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the point where you will pass the wick using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle within seconds without damaging the mold.
  • Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
  • Temperature Balance: To get smooth details from the mold, pay attention to the melting temperature and casting temperature of the wax. Trying to remove the candle from the mold before it is completely cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
  • Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for your subsequent castings. To reduce workload and avoid risks, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
  • Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial productions, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and quickly release the object from the mold. When applying, ensure an even layer is formed on the inner surfaces of the mold.

CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS

  • Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the inside of the mold with a hot air gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
  • Perfect Storage: Since silicone is flexible, it may deform under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry before placing it back into its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
  • Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for quick cleaning.

Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience in itself. We wish you a pleasant and patient production process.
