GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to prevent damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: If storage and usage instructions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 candles with this mold.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for various casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Please pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or drilled. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level to achieve a perfect form.
- Temperature Balance: To get smooth details, pay attention to the candle's melting and casting temperatures. Removing the candle from the mold before it has fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape irregularities.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in subsequent castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. Apply the spray evenly inside the mold to form a uniform layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the inside of the mold with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Perfect Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep it away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
