GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage object details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: If storage and usage conditions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 objects.
- Supportive PLA Hoop Attachment: The outer hoop is made from PLA, an organic bioplastic material, to perfectly maintain the form during casting. Hoop color may vary depending on stock.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their structure, silicone molds offer multi-purpose casting advantages. Except for stone powder casting; compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to drying and working conditions of your raw material, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The incense burner and metal tray shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only a high-quality silicone mold to produce the container will be sent with your order. The package consists of 5 parts: 1 silicone mold, 2 PLA hoops, and 2 clamps.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be sent in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material easily. This label prevents raw material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- PLA Hoop Usage: Before casting, place the hoop on the silicone mold and secure it with clamps. This prevents the silicone from stretching and deforming during casting. Important warning: Do not apply direct heat (hair dryer, heat gun, etc.) to the hoop. High heat may deform or melt the PLA material.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level to achieve a perfect form.
- Stone Powder Mixture Ratio Tip: The reference mixture ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg stone powder. Correctly adjusting the stone powder and water ratio makes the resulting object stronger and more durable. Increasing water ratio increases fragility; decreasing water ratio makes pouring and spreading the mixture in the mold difficult. Also, adjust these ratios seasonally as ambient temperature varies.
- Air Bubble Warning: After mixing stone powder with water, adding the required amount of Li-Quit Air Entrainer minimizes air bubble formation. Reference ratio is 1-3 g Li-Quit Air Entrainer per 100 g mortar. Additionally, lightly tapping the mold after casting creates vibrations that help air bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To get smooth details, do not remove the stone powder from the mold before curing, i.e., before the heating phase ends.
- Mold Release Spray Usage: For serial productions, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and quickly remove the object. When applying spray, ensure an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water after casting and dry thoroughly.
- Perfect Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, every object casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you a joyful and patient production process.
