GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to prevent damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for multiple casting materials besides candles, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Please pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder casts shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds offer multi-purpose casting advantages, wick holes are not pre-cut or pierced. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level before casting.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting temperature and pouring temperature of the wax to preserve mold details. Removing the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of detail and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following proper cleaning and storage will minimize color transfer in future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and facilitate quick object removal. Apply the spray evenly to the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry, then store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for immediate cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
