GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that will not damage object details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast objects approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their structure, silicone molds are suitable for multi-purpose casting. Except for stone powder casting, they are compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to drying and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The coasters and candle shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold for producing coasters will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be sent in a special kraft box with a label that includes weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, wick holes are not pre-cut or pierced. Before casting wax, you can easily pierce the point where you will place the wick using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle in seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Stone Powder Mixing Ratio Tip: The reference mixing ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg of stone powder. Correctly adjusting the stone powder and water ratio makes the resulting object stronger and more durable. Increasing water ratio increases brittleness; decreasing it makes pouring and spreading the mixture into the mold more difficult. Also, adjust these ratios seasonally according to ambient temperature changes.
- Air Bubble Warning: After mixing stone powder with water, adding the required amount of Li-Quit Air Entrainer minimizes air bubble formation. The reference ratio is 1-3 g Li-Quit Air Entrainer per 100 g mortar. Additionally, tapping the mold lightly after casting creates vibrations that help air bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To ensure smooth details, do not remove the object from the mold before the stone powder fully cures and the heating phase ends.
- Mold Release Spray Usage: For serial productions, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and remove objects quickly. When applying, ensure an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water after casting and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, every casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and joy in your production process.
