GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Silicone molds are versatile and suitable not only for candle casting but also for soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster casting. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material to create various products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: Candles and stone powder castings shown in images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these items will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product comes in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes opened or cut due to their multi-purpose casting advantage. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole at the desired point using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level for a perfect shape.
- Temperature Balance: To achieve smooth details, pay attention to the candle's melting and casting temperature. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. Apply the spray evenly on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may warp under pressure over time. Store your mold completely dry in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
