USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: Clean molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes cut. Before casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Control: To preserve mold details, pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax. Removing the candle before it fully cools may cause loss of detail and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: Colored wax may stain the silicone mold after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions minimizes color transfer for future casts. To reduce workload and risk, consider having separate molds for colored and white waxes.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, use mold release spray to extend mold life and ease object removal. Apply an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Store molds completely dry in their original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
