GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that will not damage object details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: If storage and usage conditions are followed, you can cast approximately 500 objects.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds offer multi-purpose casting benefits. Except for stone powder casting, they are compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to the drying and working conditions of your casting material, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The trays shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce trays will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be sent in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or pierced. Before wax casting, you can easily pierce the point where you will pass the wick using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle in seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface on which you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Stone Powder Mixture Ratio Tip: The reference mixture ratio is 310-350 g of water per 1 kg of stone powder. Correctly adjusting the stone powder and water ratio makes the resulting object stronger and more durable. Increasing water ratio increases brittleness; decreasing it makes pouring and spreading the mixture in the mold more difficult. Also, adjust these ratios seasonally as ambient temperature changes.
- Air Bubble Warning: After mixing stone powder with water, adding the required amount of Li-Quit Air Entrainer minimizes air bubble formation. The reference ratio is 1-3 g Li-Quit Air Entrainer per 100 g mortar. Additionally, lightly tapping the mold after casting creates vibrations that help air bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To ensure smooth detail release, do not remove the object from the mold before the stone powder cures and the heating phase ends.
- Mold Release Spray Usage: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and speed up object removal. When applying, ensure an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash with soapy water after casting and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, each casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you a pleasant and patient production process.
