GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible and have smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting purposes. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By paying attention to the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create various products. Not recommended for food items.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material amounts easily. This label prevents material waste and saves you from searching for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or drilled. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: To preserve mold details smoothly, pay attention to the candle’s melting and casting temperatures. Trying to remove the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in subsequent castings. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial productions, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. When applying, ensure an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry before placing it back in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
