GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Pouring Guarantee: When stored and used properly, you can make approximately 500 candle pours with the mold.
- Multi-Purpose Pouring Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting materials besides candles; including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. By considering the freezing and working conditions of your material, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder casts shown in the images are not included. Your order includes only the high-quality silicone mold that allows you to produce these items.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw materials easily. This prevents material waste and saves you from searching for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes or cuts. Before pouring, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level before pouring.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting temperature and pouring temperature of the wax to preserve mold details. Removing the candle before it fully cools and hardens may cause loss of details and shape differences.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions minimizes color transfer for future pours. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. Apply the spray evenly inside the mold to form a uniform layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently warm the inside of the mold with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Ensure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
