GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: When stored and used properly, you can cast approximately 500 candles with this mold.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting materials. Besides candle wax, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. Please pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Your order includes only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and saves you from searching for this data digitally every time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before first use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes cut or drilled. Before candle casting, you can easily create the wick hole with a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle in seconds without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level before casting.
- Temperature Balance: To preserve mold details, pay attention to the melting temperature and pouring temperature of the wax. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply the spray evenly on the inner surfaces of the mold.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the inside of the mold with a hot air gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry before placing it back in its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
