GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Pouring Guarantee: When stored and used properly, you can pour candles approximately 500 times with the mold.
- Multi-Purpose Pouring Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for multiple materials besides candle wax, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder casts shown in the images are not included. Your order includes only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: The molds are sent without wick holes drilled or cut, due to their multi-purpose design. Before pouring, you can easily create the wick hole using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level to achieve a perfect form.
- Temperature Balance: To get smooth details, pay attention to the melting and pouring temperature of your wax. Removing the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape deformation.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in future pours. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. Apply the spray evenly on the inner surfaces of the mold.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently heat the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
