GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness to avoid damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can cast candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Silicone molds are versatile. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster casting. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone molds to produce these objects will be shipped with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and dimension information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: Clean molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes opened or cut due to their multi-purpose casting advantage. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Control: To achieve smooth details, pay attention to the candle's melting and casting temperatures. Removing the candle before it fully cools and hardens may cause detail loss and shape deformation.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may discolor after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions minimizes color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, consider having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and ease object removal. Apply evenly inside the mold to form a consistent layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Ensure molds are completely dry before placing them back into their original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
