GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that prevents damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: If stored and used properly, you can cast approximately 500 candles with this mold.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their silicone composition, these molds are suitable for multiple casting uses beyond candle making; compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. Please consider the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included. Your order includes only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, wick holes are not pre-cut or pierced. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level before casting to achieve a perfect form.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting and casting temperature of the wax to ensure smooth detail. Removing the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future castings. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Using Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and quickly release objects. Apply an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for immediate cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is a delightful experience. We wish you patience and joy in your production process.
