USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: Clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes drilled or cut, allowing versatile use. Before pouring, you can easily create a wick hole using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting and pouring temperature of the wax to preserve mold details. Removing the candle before it fully cools may cause loss of detail and shape variations.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions minimizes color transfer for future pours. To reduce workload and risk, consider having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Store your mold completely dry in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, every candle pour is a delightful experience. We wish you patience and joy throughout your production process.
