- Candle dyes are oil-based products used to color your candles.
- They have a thick, concentrated consistency that softens and then melts when exposed to heat.
- This product is orange in color and weighs 1 kg. It is shipped in a single 1 kg doypack package.
- When coloring your candle, add a small amount (1%) of the granule candle dye to the melting container along with your base material (soy wax, paraffin, etc.). Mix thoroughly to achieve a homogeneous blend. Once fully melted, drip a drop onto white paper and let it dry. If the dried color on the paper matches your desired tone, your color is ready. If it appears lighter than expected, add a small additional amount (2%, 3%, 4%, etc.) to the liquid wax and mix well. Repeat this process until you achieve the desired shade.
- The visible color of the melted wax will differ from the color after drying.
- The candle dyes you use can be mixed with each other, allowing you to create intermediate colors from different primary colors.
- Granule candle dyes are produced to minimize pigment issues after drying, unlike powder dyes. They are much easier to work with compared to powders.
