GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that will not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Pouring Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can pour approximately 500 candles using the mold.
- Multi-Purpose Pouring Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting purposes. Besides candle pouring, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. This label helps prevent material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or drilled. Before candle pouring, you can easily pierce the wick hole point in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a 'biz' or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before pouring is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: To get smooth details, pay attention to the candle's melting and pouring temperatures. Trying to remove the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape deformation.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future pours. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial productions, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. When applying, ensure an even layer on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently warm the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for instant cleaning.
