GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: With proper storage and usage, you can cast approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting uses. Besides candle casting, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster castings. By considering the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create various products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw material amounts easily. This label helps prevent material waste and eliminates the need to search for digital data each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or drilled. Before candle casting, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting temperature and casting temperature of the wax to ensure smooth mold details. Trying to remove the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape irregularities.
- Colored Casting Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after casting. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for subsequent castings. To reduce workload and avoid risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white castings.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects quickly. When applying, ensure an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After casting, gently heat the inside of the mold with a hot air gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Perfect Storage: Silicone is flexible and can deform under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep it away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle casting is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
