GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: The molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Pouring Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can pour candles approximately 500 times.
- Multi-Purpose Pouring Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting purposes. Besides candle pouring, they are compatible with soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster castings. By considering the freezing and working conditions of your raw materials, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: The candles and stone powder castings shown in the images are not included in the sale. Only the high-quality silicone mold to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product will be shipped in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw material usage easily. This label helps prevent material waste and eliminates the need to search for this data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose casting advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or drilled. Before candle pouring, you can easily pierce the point where you will insert the wick using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle in seconds without damaging the mold.
- Mold Cutting: The mold's opening section is narrower than the body, allowing the balloon form to come out perfectly. Therefore, when looking at the mold from above, cut approximately 1 cm from two opposite horizontal and vertical legs in a plus (+) shape at the opening section. The uncut side legs should be pulled outward after drying to remove the candle. Before pouring, align and press the cut surfaces tightly together. This cutting process ensures your candle with delicate details comes out easily without damage, prevents mold tearing, and extends its lifespan.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before pouring is flat and level.
- Heat Balance: Pay attention to the candle's melting and pouring temperatures to ensure smooth detail results. Trying to remove the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape distortions.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future pours. To reduce workload and avoid risks, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Use of Mold Release Spray: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and quickly remove objects. Apply the spray evenly on the mold's inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently heat the mold interior with a hot air gun and wipe candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You can use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle pouring is a delightful experience. We wish you patience and joy throughout your production process.
