GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made from durable white silicone with optimal hardness that does not damage object details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Casting Guarantee: When stored and used properly, you can cast approximately 500 objects.
- Multi-Purpose Casting Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for various casting materials except stone powder; compatible with wax, soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stone, ceramic, and plaster. By paying attention to drying and working conditions of your material, you can create many different products. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: Containers shown in images are not included. Only high-quality silicone molds for container production will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing weight and size information to help you calculate raw materials easily. This prevents material waste and eliminates the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes cut or drilled. Before casting wax, you can easily create the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold before casting is flat and level for a perfect form.
- Stone Powder Mixture Ratio Tip: Reference ratio is 310-350 g water per 1 kg powder. Correct water-to-powder ratio ensures a stronger, more durable object. Higher water increases fragility; lower water makes pouring and spreading harder. Adjust ratios seasonally as ambient temperature changes.
- Air Bubble Warning: Adding the recommended amount of Li-Quit Air Entrainer (1-3 g per 100 g mortar) after mixing stone powder with water minimizes air bubbles. Lightly tapping the mold after pouring helps bubbles rise to the surface.
- Demolding Time: To preserve smooth details, do not remove the object before the stone powder fully cures and heat phase ends.
- Mold Release Spray Use: For serial production, use mold release spray to extend mold life and ease object removal. Apply an even layer inside the mold.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: Wash molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly after casting.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and can deform under pressure over time. Store molds completely dry in their original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
