GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
- Optimal Hardness: Molds are made of durable white silicone with optimal hardness to prevent damage to candle details. They are flexible with smooth inner surfaces.
- Pouring Guarantee: With proper storage and use, you can pour approximately 500 candles.
- Multi-Purpose Pouring Advantage: Due to their design, silicone molds are suitable for multiple casting uses beyond candle making, including soap, concrete, epoxy, scented stones, ceramics, and plaster. Pay attention to the freezing and working conditions of your casting material. Not recommended for food products.
- Package Contents: Candles and stone powder castings shown in images are not included. Only the high-quality silicone molds to produce these objects will be sent with your order.
- Special Kraft Box and Information Label: Your product is delivered in a special kraft box with a label containing gram and size information to help you calculate raw materials easily, preventing waste and eliminating the need to search for data digitally each time.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Molds are sent without wick holes drilled or cut, due to their multi-purpose design. Before pouring, you can easily create the wick hole using a tool called a "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle without damaging the mold.
- Level the Surface: Ensure the surface where you place the mold is flat and level for a perfect shape.
- Temperature Balance: To achieve smooth details, pay attention to the melting and pouring temperature of the wax. Removing the candle before it fully cools and hardens can cause loss of detail and shape irregularities.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer in future pours. To reduce workload and risk, it is recommended to have separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Mold Release Spray Use: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply evenly inside the mold to form a uniform layer.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently heat the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off wax residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and can deform under pressure over time. Make sure the mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
