USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry them thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose pouring advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or pierced. Before candle pouring, you can easily pierce the wick hole in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called a "piercer" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a flawless form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before pouring is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: Pay attention to the melting temperature and pouring temperature of the wax to ensure smooth details. Trying to remove the candle from the mold before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape differences.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your wax mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. By following cleaning and storage instructions, you can minimize color transfer for your future pours. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Mold Release Spray Use: For serial production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and quickly remove objects from the mold. When applying the spray, ensure an even layer on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently warm the inside of the mold with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towels. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may warp under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry before placing it back into its original kraft box. Store away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or alcohol wipes for instant cleaning.
Remember, every candle pouring is an enjoyable experience. We wish you a pleasant and patient production process.
