USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- First Use: It is recommended to clean your molds with soapy water and dry thoroughly before use.
- Wick Placement: Since the molds have multi-purpose pouring advantages, they are sent without wick holes being cut or pierced. Before candle pouring, you can easily pierce the wick hole point in seconds without damaging the mold using a tool called "biz" or a medium-thickness quilting needle.
- Level the Surface: To achieve a perfect form, ensure the surface where you place the mold before pouring is flat and level.
- Temperature Balance: To get smooth details from the mold, pay attention to the candle’s melting and pouring temperatures. Trying to remove the candle before it is fully cooled and solidified may cause loss of details and shape differences.
- Colored Pouring Tip: If your candle mixture is colored, the silicone mold may change color after pouring. Following cleaning and storage instructions will minimize color transfer for future pours. To reduce workload and risk, we recommend having separate molds for colored and white pours.
- Mold Release Spray Usage: For mass production, you can use mold release spray to extend mold life and release objects faster. Apply the spray evenly on the mold’s inner surfaces.
CLEANING AND STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Post-Use Cleaning: After pouring, gently heat the mold interior with a heat gun and wipe off candle residues with paper towel. Then wash with soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Proper Storage: Silicone is flexible and may deform under pressure over time. Make sure your mold is completely dry and store it in its original kraft box. Keep away from direct sunlight, high heat, and heavy weights.
- Quick Cleaning: You may use wet wipes, adhesive tape, or cologne wipes for quick cleaning.
Remember, every candle pouring is an enjoyable experience. We wish you patience and pleasure throughout your production process.
